The bonefish fishing has been phenomenal the past two weeks! I’ve been seeing exceptionally large schools of fish in all size ranges on the flats from Key Largo to Biscayne Bay! Bonefish are one of my favorite fish to target here in South Florida. A very shallow swimming, and spooky species make them one of the pinnacle sight fishing species. 0 to 30 in two seconds once hooked, a bonefish is a prized catch you won’t soon forget.

Well the 2019 busy tarpon season is winding down. It was a great run with many great fishing memories created with friends new and old. As the giant tarpon and the number of fishermen on the water begin to thin out it reminds me that the next best season is upon us here in the Florida Keys. Summer time permit! The next few months are an amazing time to come to South Florida and experience some of the best permit fishing around. Weather your a fly or light tackle angler this is sight fishing at its very best!
